Presenting Katie's paintings in a beautiful and simply stunning way

Katie Fogg is a plein-air and visionary painter with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, a John Stobart Fellowship, and a studio in New London, Connecticut. Her paintings deserved a better home than her previous site gave them. Blue Lynx designed a site that feels like stepping into her studio, where a website visitor can get lost in the work and find the one painting that speaks to them.

Katie wanted a website that was simple yet stunning. She wanted her artwork to be the main focus of the website and entice users to want to click to buy the paintings.

Blue Lynx built a filterable archive so visitors can sort by what interests them, whether that be plein air, visionary work, clouds, flowers, umbrellas, or a specific place like New London, Hudson Valley, or California. Titles stay hidden until hover, inviting the user to think first about what piece speaks to them, and find out the name of the artwork only after being drawn in. Each painting opens to its own page with the full image and a direct link to purchase.
